GSX arbeitet auch an einer Tokenized Securities Exchange
Nach einem Einspruch hat 3iQ zuvor die Genehmigung der Ontario Securities Commission erhalten, seinen Bitcoin-Fonds kanadischen Investoren anzubieten.
Um den Fonds zu unterstützen, sagte 3iQ, dass es sich mit Fragen der Preisgestaltung, der Verwahrung, der Rechnungsprüfung und Fragen des öffentlichen Interesses an einem regulierten Investmentfonds befasst. Das Unternehmen fungiert als Investitions- und Portfoliomanager des Fonds, während die in New York ansässige Krypto-Börse Gemini Trust die Funktionen des Verwahrers der im Fonds gehaltenen Bitcoins erfüllt.
Darüber hinaus ist 3iQ eine Partnerschaft mit dem Vermögensverwalter VanEck eingegangen, um in Zusammenarbeit mit MV Index Solutions von VanEck, einem regulierten Indexanbieter bei der Entwicklung von Krypto-Währungsindizes und Datenreihen, eine Bitcoin-Benchmark zu entwickeln.
Die Anziehung von Blockchain- und Krypto-Startups wurde als eine Möglichkeit gesehen, Gibraltars florierende Finanzdienstleistungsindustrie zu stärken, nachdem das selbstverwaltete Gebiet zusammen mit Großbritannien im Laufe dieses Jahres die EU verlassen wird.
Darüber hinaus arbeitet die Börse von Gibraltar (GSX) daran, eine Tokenized Securities Exchange-Lösung anzubieten. Zuletzt ging sie eine Partnerschaft mit STO Global-X (STGX) ein, einem in Singapur ansässigen Startup-Unternehmen, um verschiedenen Marktplätzen die Tokenisierung von Wertpapieren laut Bitcoin Profit zu ermöglichen und den virtuellen Besitz und Handel mit physischen Vermögenswerten unter Verwendung digitaler Token zu erleichtern.
